Dr. Poplawski has an interest in international health initiatives and has participated in volunteer work in Tanzania. He is also interested in hiking, cycling, and travelling. His most memorable travel moments include swimming with the great white sharks in South Africa, climbing Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and hang gliding in Brazil.
